Brazilian Garlic Butter Tilapia

Direction

1. Season fish

Pat tilapia dry. Season both sides with salt & pepper.

2. Sear

Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet.

Add tilapia and cook for 3–4 minutes each side.

3. Add garlic butter

Add remaining butter + garlic.

Stir around until melted and fragrant.

4. Add lemon

Pour lemon juice over fish. Let sauce bubble for 30 seconds.

5. Finish

Garnish with cilantro.

Notes / Tips

Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, quinoa, or salad

Swap tilapia: cod, halibut, mahi-mahi

Add heat: pinch of cayenne

Add veggies: asparagus, spinach, roasted tomatoes
