Herb Butter Mushroom Steak Sandwich

Direction
1. Sear steak
Heat oil in a skillet. Add steak strips.
Cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
2. Cook mushrooms
Add herb butter to the skillet.
Add mushrooms and cook for 5–6 minutes until golden.
3. Combine
Return steak to skillet and toss with mushrooms to warm through.
4. Toast bread
Slice baguette and toast lightly.
5. Assemble
Pile steak + mushrooms inside bread.
Notes / Tips
Add toppings: caramelized onions, provolone cheese, arugula
Swap steak for chicken or portobello
Serve with fries, salad, or roasted vegetables
Add sauce: garlic aioli, horseradish cream
