Korean BBQ Beef Lettuce Wraps
- Cook: 10 Minutes
- Prep: 10 Minutes
- Total: 25 Minutes
- Servings: 2
Direction
1. Marinate the Beef (10 minutes)
In a bowl, whisk together:
soy sauce
brown sugar
sesame oil
(optional) minced garlic
Add beef strips and toss to coat. Let marinate for 10 minutes while you prepare the lettuce and rice.
2. Stir Fry the Beef (5–7 minutes)
Heat a skillet on medium high. When hot:
Add a drizzle of oil.
Add the marinated beef.
Stir-fry for 5–7 minutes, until the beef becomes browned, sticky, and glazed.
The sugar will caramelize and give it that glossy Korean BBQ finish.
3. Assemble the Wraps
Lay down your lettuce leaves and add:
A spoonful of warm rice
A few pieces of glazed beef
A drizzle of chili mayo
Top with sesame seeds or chopped green onion if you want it prettier.
Notes & Tips
Serve immediately for the best crisp lettuce and hot beef combo.
Add thin cucumber slices, shredded carrots, or kimchi for extra texture.
